a little help regarding images and the Finder...

I am currently in the process of migrating my photo library from the *awful* iPhoto structure to my own organisation via Finder. I have a folder full of all the images (~10 000 ) and some photos show the icon as a generic preview document, others show small scale previews of the images. I have come to the conclusion that this is something to do with either the way the images were created OR the application that handled them post creation.

Is there any way I can make it so all my photos in this folder show up as the little previous in their icons as opposed to the generic document icon?

You do realise that you're not supped to be able to makes sense of iPhoto's folder structure? The whole point is just to leave it alone and organize it with the iPhoto interface. iPhoto understands it's folder structure, and that's all that matters.
