Sorry for the total noob question. I've never played w/ iMovie or any kind of video editing software before, and was wonderin' if I could edit video clips in iMovie. I've been playin around with it, and I don't see any way to take certain parts of the clip out. If iMovie isn't for this, what saoftware can I use? Thanks guys.

Easy.
Start her up and you'll have a main window for playing your clip in. At the bottom of that window you'll see the slider that shows your progress throught the clip. Hover your cursor over this and two small triangle appear just below it, back to back. Move these triangles across to highlight in yellow a section of the clip and then right click or choose from the edit menu to cut/copy etc.

Yea, thakns I figured it out. This app is pretty cool. I never used it before.
