iPod A little help...

I just recently bought a macbook...and i want all of my music & videos from my itunes on my pc to now be on my mac. Is there any other way of doing this without having to buy an external hard drive? Mind I have 5,000 something songs so just putting a few files on a cd isn't really an option.

You could transfer it via ethernet (i.e. a network). Just connect an ethernet cable from your pc into your macbook, and transfer your music that way.

Make sure you turn the Firewalls off on both the PC and the Mac, as I've found networking with Windows is a nightmare if any firewalls are on.

You'll still be safe as long as you're behind a router, which acts as a firewall...

I don't think Windows Firewall itself causes any problems - any third party ones might though.
