If you are in lock-down confinement as we are here in France, and with time on your hands, HERE's a liitle interesting PPC history from the archives that you may have missed 1st time round.

And a few more from the G4PBook & iBook archives
PowerBook G4 (i)
PowerBook G4 (ii)
PowerBook v iBook
iBook Clamshell
TiBook
The TiBook 667GHz was my very first new Mac in 2002, and following complete restoration still holds a memorable place in my collection. The keyboards are still far better than in many new Macs today, a joy to type on. What a pity the Ti PBook3,5 the last 1GHz model (with the re-inforced screen hinges) is so difficult to find. I eventually found one but it's far from mint. If anyone in Europe has one to swap for an excellent iBook Clamshell 466Mz I'd be interested. ;)

Thanks for sharing.
Moved this year to france (nord) also!
Miss my PB G4! Even "walk around" leboncoin to see if I could find something cheap, but not really :/

The 1GHz Tibook is my favorite laptop of any era, from any brand. It's just a joy to use and I use it all the time, for real work as well as fun. Thin bezels, a great keyboard, all the ports in the back instead of on the sides, etc.--all features later models lacked.

I agree, though the keyboard is debatable. It's a great keyboard for sure. But personally the Alu keyboards are unbeatable to this day.

I definitely agree about the 12". It has a very nice tactile feel. But the keyboard in the 15" DLSD I had was extremely mushy and vague. I did not like it at all and eventually sold the laptop because of it.

My other complaint with the aluminum PowerBook keyboards is that they can be hard to see at certain angles in some lighting conditions, whereas the white on black tibook keyboard is just about always easy to see.
