My Mac was closed and just a little spilled from my water bottle, but I'm not sure if any water got between the hedges an inside the computer. I immediately turned it off, an haven't turned it on since, so should I be worried? When will it be ok to turn it back on? Also I have a one year warranty, is water damaged covered on that and does apple care cover that as well if something was to happen?

Leave it open upside down for 48 hours.

The warranty/AppleCare do not cover water damage.

Open it up if you can and clean the corrosion if any with denature alcohol make sure you disconnect the battery before you do anything to it.

If it's closed and you caught it in time, it should be okay.

It sounds like you're worried if the water crawled up through the bottom? Water follows the path of least resistance so if it's able to spread outside of the laptop, it'll do that before it tries to get into the laptop.

My laptop was closed, but i had it underneath my arm with the speakers faced up and I was doing more than one thing at a time and my water bottle whose cap was on, but i squeezed it and a little drop fell on the laptop where my arm was near the speaker. Now im not sure if anything got in there, i have no idea, but i will say this, my speakers have not been as loud since this accident. Im hoping eventually the problem fixes itself, but if not im thinking about taking it to an apple store or a best buy. What you guys suggest, because im playing music in itunes and its on full blast asnd it fells like its half way.

If it was a quick splash and you caught it in time, you should be able to wipe it clean without any damage. I say this because the speaker grill of MBP's are drilled by lasers and they are small enough that a single drop of water would not break/bleed into them by its own weight. If you push the water down while trying to dry it, it may force some in, but if you simply lay a piece of paper towel on it and let it soak it up, you can probably do it w/o getting water in the laptop.

Of course, water going in via the ports on the side are a different story...

This is why it's handy to have the necessary tools to open the bottom of the laptop and disconnect the battery. I've saved 2 MBPs by doing this (one wasn't mine). I had a beer spill all over a keyboard, and sit there for a bit before I noticed it. Keyboard was useless afterwards, as was the trackpad, but it worked great with bluetooth still. I lost my wireless capability due to negligence when I took the entire thing apart and put it back together.
