Some people have said that a rattle when the phone is shaken could be the accelerometer or gyroscope but I just wanted to see if anyone else had this specific problem.
It doesn't rattle when I shake it, but when I tap the phone lightly on my hand I can hear the sound. I thought it might have been the power/volume buttons or the silent switch. But when I covered them all, I could still hear it. However, when I covered the camera, the sound stopped.
I've heard of people losing the glass covering for the camera and if this could be related to that, then I think that merits trying to get a replacement.
