A matte display option for the 13" MBP would make it near perfect

The more I think about it I don't think I can live with the glassy screen

The only small factor option is the MBA, but it lacks all the extras the 13 MBP has (FW, RAM expandability..)

C'mon Apple please offer a Matte BTO option

I've a MBP 13 on order should have it next Tuesday, can't wait as I've been waiting for years for something to replace my 12 G4 PB(need firewire for sound card)

Fiancee has 13 Macbook white and I find the glossy screen awful compared to the mate finish on my G4. Other than the spec of the new MBP 13 is savage!

Does anyone know of a matte film that you stick to the screen to take the shiny edge off?

Glassy is really annoying I agree. It's absolutely worse than regular glossy. It's like the worst of everything.

Since Apple was nice enough to drop the price now you can pay Tech Restore for the conversion.
