I use my iMac upstairs connected via Wifi to a router that is downstairs and get a speed of 15mbps according to speedtest.net.
I am considering connecting via powerline networking. Does anyone else have this setup? if so what are the results like?
Main reason I want to do this is so I can hopefully get a faster connection (my broadband is 50mbps) and connect my TV and Xbox using hardwire (the TV struggles picking up wifi).
So what are the best power line solutions? And what else would I need (the computer end) to be able to connect and use, theoretically at the same time, the iMac, TV and xbox to the power line plug?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
