I like the new Airport Extreme's features that allow a user to serve a printer or USB hard drive from it. However, I would like to get a router that allows both of these features at the same time. Does anyone know of such a device?

If I am not mistaken you just need a mini-hub to create more USB ports.

Thanks for the advice. That's something to consider.

However, I am try to cut down on the bulk. A router with two USB ports is much preferred to a router plus a USB hub.

Although you've got me thinking. Maybe I could find a USB HDD that has a USB hub built into it.

You could combine your efforts and get one of those mac minin hard drive/usb hubs. the wireless router sholuld sit right on top of it. I have one of the 400 gb Mini Stacks and love it

Although, if you are certain you want a SAN, then you need to speak to me. My rates are reasonable and we could get you started with something around $45k, current EMC, not refurbished Clarion, new disks, etc. :p

I've got a minipal, which is absolutely one of the best pieces of computer equipment that I have ever owned. The only problem is that the hdd is firewire based, not USB based.

The LaCie HD and port expander seems to be what you want. It comes in many capacities, but people complain the 500GB model is noisy.

In addition to iWoot's suggestion, there are many 2 port hubs. For $10 this is nice.

Those mini USB hubs are tiny and cheap and its not like your going to put the router in the middle of your living room.
