So when I was on the phone with AppleCare today I casually brought up the topic about Apple employees not allowed being on these websites.

I didn't know this, but they are allowed to browswe these sites, they just can't comment on anything.

yes they've always been allowed to read, but can't comment according to their NDA that they sign and agree too.

i thought this was fairly common knowledge, but maybe i've been hanging around here too much?
 
I get the impression, though, that most employees forego coming to the sites at all because they don't want to have even the slightest bit of trouble.
