Does the iPhone 6 have a built in pedometer and stair climber tracker thing? Was lead to believe it did given the hoohaa over the health app.

Or does it only allow developers to build apps to do this?
 
Yup it is in the health app and you have to put it on your dashboard to see it. Although honestly, its the biggest pedometer I've ever seen :)
 
I still can't find it. Can someone direct me haha
 
My 6+ isn't tracking anything :eek:

It says No Data under Steps, Walking + Running, and Flights Climbed
 
I think you have to have a HealthKit-compatible pedometer app. The Health app is little more than a place for you to see data that other apps contribute.

The Health app keeps track of steps, distance, flights climbed all without the need for any 3rd apps.
