I think I may have found a bug in Finder.

This is for those of you who have Boot Camp and have your Windows Drive appearing on your desktop.

Go into the finder preferences and turn off the option to show HDs on the desktop. Notice how only Macintosh HD disappears! It leaves your Windows drive behind.

Heres the kicker: Uncheck the CD, DVDs, and iPod option, and notice how your Windows partition disappears!

This worked perfectly, as expected in Tiger, so they've done something. I've filed a bug report at Apple, but haven't received any reply..

Just want to know if other people can reproduce this or whether its just something i've done on both my iMac and macbook.

Wouldn't call it a bug as such - doesn't cause any form of error or cause a crash.

Just a small glitch. It does it on mine too. But I never use that feature anyway, I always display my hard drives.

I guess, but regardless, it doesn't function as expected. But I'm glad i'm not the only one who can reproduce the issue. Thanks for checking it out.
