I was wondering who here has a problem free iPhone 3G?

I stood in line at my local Apple store (Woodland Hills Mall) on July 11th. I was their a good long time about 7 hours, but I did manage to get my Black 16GB iPhone 3G. I went home activated it and have been using it daily since then. I have experienced no problems with it at all.

I know I'm not alone in this, despite the look of things in this forum. :)
 
Just returned my 3G 16GB White, for a brand new in box (I brought my old box and receipt for my 6 day old iPhone) due to it shutting off unexpectedly and the glass was not flush at the top of the iPhone and dust was getting stuck in the crevices. About a 10 minute turnaround, and received a free trial of MobileMe. I'm extremely happy...:p

I got a 16 gig black and its perfect.. But i did have to go thru 4 iphones to get the perfect one.
 
mines great the site is depressing every thread is about how somethings broken on somebodys iphone or how they dont like something about it
 
Two 16 gig iPhones, one black, one white, have been working great so far, and no cracks or leaking light or uneven glass problems. Software seems to be working well, too. My syncs and backups take just a few minutes.

I feel bad for those who are having problems, though! Not fun at all.
 
You might want to put in some clarifiers about software... Sure, I've had 2.0 bugginess on my 3G, but also have it on my 2G. Besides that, solid so far.
 
That's honestly better than I expected so far on here.

Since you see a lot of people coming here with problems. Still a 1 in 5 return rate is kinda ugly imo.
 
Hardware-wise, mine's perfect. As for the 2.0.1 software, well.. *sigh*

lol - Yeah. If you want me to write a list of overall complaints, that's different.

But as for the hardware itself? It's like Mary Poppins. Practically perfect in every way.

That's 20%, which is high, but it's among the uber-nerds. (Us, in other words.) I suspect the return ratio for mere mortals is cloer to 3 or 4%.
Remember, the people around here are the ones who got all flustered that a store employee would open the box before they could. (!)

Obviously, these are people who are going to be returning the product in greater numbers.
