A program able to make gif files? And aprogram to convert movies into gifs

I just want a program that can put images into and then you have a gif file.

And a program that converts a movie file into a gif file.

I presume that you want to convert a movie file to an animated GIF. Try GraphicConverter. QuickTime Pro will convert movies to animated image sequences. However, QTPro will do JPEG but not GIF. Of course, QTPro will convert a sequence of images into a .mov file. I believe that GraphicConverter will also do it.
