hi,

im looking for a program like dvddrcrypter that i can use on my macbook pro to make exact copies of dvds that im trying to copy.

thanks,

Agreed! MacTheRipper followed by Toast Titanium 8 - couldn't be simpler! :)

for mac the ripper, can i rip the dvd into a image? like a iso? or dmg?

also if i rip a dvd to my macbook, how can i mount it and have front row and dvd player see it as a real dvd?

You could simply use Disk Utility to create an image of the DVD if you were just wanting to copy it. I'm not sure you could mount it and have it recognized as a DVD, but I don't see why it shouldn't... Perhaps give it a try.
