A Query about Activity Monitor's Network Tab

Hi all,

I was just looking for a bit of confirmation regarding the Data sent/received figures displayed in the Network region of Activity monitor. I assume they show the figure for the day, correct? Or is it a different timescale? Any help would be greatly appreciated [=

I would assume they show the amount sent/received since the network card became active (i.e. since you last booted up)
