A question about an Airport Express

Hello, I was wondering if this could work:
I have an Time Capsule downstairs in the living room next to where the cable line comes in/ where the modem is located. However, I have an Apple TV set upstairs in another room. Would I be better off just using the wifi from the time capsule or would an Airport Express in the room with the apple tv make a difference? If so, could I connect an ethernet cable from the airport express in the room to the apple tv, thus making it hardwired in a way? I tried to find this out online but had no luck. Thanks for the help!

You'd probably be better off using the Apple TV's WiFi. If you really want to, you can use the AirPort Express as a wireless access point like you describe. Set the Express to Extend the Time Capsule's network and you'll be able to use the Express' Ethernet port for wired devices.
