Ive just bought the i6s and have spent a few hours setting it up. At the moment I'm stumped on how to transfer books in my iPad mini collection to my new iPhone 6s

The little bit of research I carried out suggested that you just don't sync the old and the new, I'm not sure what you do - HELP

The books themselves consists of manuals, self help books, how to books and a few novels. In all there are about forty. I don't think any of them were bought via Apple, they are mainly freebies or downloaded from individual sights

What's the best way to place a copy of these on my iPhone. All the books within Kindle app seemed to have synced automatically !

As always many thanks for your advice

Kevin

Goto Settings/iBooks/Sync Collections/ON

Make sure you organize your pdf files or whatever into a collection first and both devices have that setting turned on.
