A question in regards to email address

ok.. this is something that has been bugging me for ages..

when i used to have an iBook, i created an email address but never used it. a year or two later i ended up purchasing my imac. i created another email address and now that i want to join up to .mac, i want the first email address that i created as my one and only email address.

how can i go about using the first email address that i created instead of the one that i have currently have as default? i have forgotten the password, and i also dont know how to change the default address that is on my imac..

can anyone help?

Check Mail's preferences. But you will need a password to get any mail.

when you first turn the computer on (open from box, new from store) it will ask you the email address. this info is stored in the address book. just change it there, it will change throughout the entire system.
