A question on the new iMovie.

So I know the new iPhoto app can import up to 19mp DSLR photos, but what about DSLR 1080p video and iMovie? Will it be possible to import video from say, a Canon T3i, and edit it in iMovie on the iPad? Or will the codec not work?

1080p should be supported. Highly doubt that it won't be able to.

Supported for 1080p but needs to be MP4 or MOV. Basically it needs to be playable by the iPad.
