A question to ebay sellers who've sold their non-unibody macbook pros

I am ready to sell my early 2008 MBP but was wondering if its safe enough to ship in its original box packaging alone, or is it a good idea to double up on the box.

I sold my PowerMac G5 on ebay but I simply shipped it in its original box because it was already made for shipping with all the protection inside. Not sure how secure enough the MBP box will be for shipping though...
