I am currently in Germany. Bought a m1 macbook pro from Apple Germany online store. After using it, decided to return it. Following the online returning procedure by apple, printed out the label then return via UPS. But the apple online return status stopped at 'arrived at the carrier', while the UPS tracking system showing already delivered. I can no long track the package any more, no idea where it is now. I wonder if this is common. The only thing I can tell is that according to address on the label printed out, UPS delivered to a company called 'AI returns, Syncreon Technology, Netherland'. After that, seems like it is not UPS bussiness anymore. I wonder if there is someone with similar experience can share with me some information. Is it common? How long does it usually take to finish the refund process?

Thank you!

My experience relates to yours only its from a UK perspective. From you post it seems there are many similarities.

I got a MBA M1 last Tuesday. Had issue's with it. Apple had 2 goes at sorting it online but failed. The online return procedure was started Tuesday evening. I printed off the return labels (I had 3 items to return) and arranged pick up the next day. It was a UPS and pick up was around 2pm.
There was no way way to track the 3 items as there was no tracking number. The info I got was signing into my Apple account and going to the return page. There was a display showing its status, picked up, in transit, delivered. After that nothing.
I got an email Thursday evening saying 2 items received ( both cable adaptors) pretty quick I thought. Next day got the same for the MBA.
I then got mails saying refund for adaptors approved. Following day same for the MBA.
I bought my items via PayPal and after a couple of days the funds appeared in my account. 3 days later the funds transferred to my credit card provider.
So being brief returned on a Wednesday and 7 days later funds back onto my credit card account.
I did phone Apple after sales service. Found them to be of no help and had little understanding of the returns Policies in the country the customer was calling from.
The returns IT company you named is the same one my goods went to in the UK.
Hope some of this helps.
First time I have ever returned Apple goods.

Thanks for your quick reply! Yea, it was my first apple computer, was quite excited about it. But later found this computer can't sit stable on any flat surface I can test.

So according to your description, you received email from apple confirming receiving after one day you shipped the items. I dropped the item to UPS on Wednesday, but so far haven't received any confirmation email from apple. UPS tracking system shows delivered on Thurday. No idea what is going on. Hope it goes back to the hand of apple...

I have had a look in my mails,
I received mails from UPS but only for confirmation of pick up details.
Mails from Apple saying "we have received the items you have returned" refunds are transferred to your account within 7 business days.
The same day I got a mail from PayPal saying funds received from Apple.
So the last 3 mails I received were from Apple one for each item returned. Headed "Your Apple credit for return No. _____ that was after my PayPal had been credited.
Hope some of that helps.
