Okay, here's whats up. I just bought a new 15" MBP because my 13" MB was getting kind of boring to me. (yeah, I know......) Now, I had a 200GB 7200rpm hard drive in my previous MB so I installed it in my new 15" MBP.

So I'm wondering if I should reformat my OS or would it be fine just to leave it alone? I'm currently using the hard drive in my new MBP and everything seems like its fine. I'm wondering if there's something different that my new laptop needs (operating system wise) that my old MB system didn't have? I would like to think that Leopard would automatically do any software changes due to the hardware differences between my MB and my MBP.

So that's why I'm asking here. do you guys (and gals) think I should reformat my hard drive or will it be fine as is?

If it were Windows i think you would be  but it seems like OSX is recognizing your HD just fine and isn't complaining about the sudden change of hardware. "If it ain't broke don't fix it"
