I've been trying to decide on an iPhone 17 color, and I'm torn between blue and black. Since I've wanted to give the original Apple silicone case a chance, I figured I could pair the blue phone with the purple case for a "toy"-like design:
Pairing the same case with the black phone would be insanely boring, as you can see:

If I knew for sure that I'd keep that case for years, the color choice for the phone would be easy—blue. However, I'm only interested in trying it once, and I don't expect it to age well (I've read reviews). I've never had one of these, though, so I would like to give it a shot.
In case I do end up with a different case sooner or later, I'd probably want to try a red case at some point, and perhaps even a leather case (most likely in brown). I'm not sure how well those colors would look on a blue iPhone, while they would undoubtedly look good on a neutral black phone.
I think making the choice has been so difficult for me because I can't seem to find dedicated base iPhone 17 threads or videos—this one being the exception.
It seems that everyone's only posting Pro and Pro Max pictures, and I get it. This year, with the base phone finally having a "ProMotion" screen, I realized I can finally opt for the base model. Otherwise, I would have gone for the Pro or Pro Max as well. I recognized the 17 was a great phone while watching the unveiling in September, and I wasn't surprised to see that sentiment echoed everywhere afterwards. That's the only reason I'm surprised that there aren't more dedicated accessories posts about it. If you guys do know of any, please do let me know!
In the meantime, I'd appreciate your input, along with a pic of your blue base 17 with a brownish leather case or even a red one (Technically Red by Andar comes to mind).
