Like many, over the years I've had to shove cardboard in my magic mouse, and all sorts of other issues with connections. I found one more today while trying to eliminate an issue. The positive side pulled back off the plastic where it was plastic welded to. I put a wedge there and fixed it....... until the next issue arises. Contrary to popular belief you do not have to rip these things apart from the bottom up. A simple spludger will unhinge the top (be mindful of the rear cable connection) in less than 5 seconds and it snaps right back together.
