A real simple rss reader

I'm just looking for a web app/ osx app that does the job im looking for.

I have looked at http://www.skimr.co which is great, but what im really looking for is a service that:

  1. simply shows the number of unread feeds,
  2. allows me to click on a feed to go to that website,
  3. then automatically makes that specific feed read

Simple. Are their any other existing services which do this. I love RSS, but i want to be able to read the content on the actual site, not through the rss application.
