a recent list of 3ed party apps?

I have looked around and can't find a difinitive list of jailbroken(aka non itunes) apps. where would a recent one (that includes 2.1 apps) WITH download links?

dude, jailbreak, then use cydia or installer ON YOUR IPOD and download watever u want,

There are many different sources, so there will be no one source to find everything. I say start with a standard jailbreak then add sources.

I take it then that once I jailbreak all will be made clear when it comes to apps then? I have looked around the net and have found a few discriptions of apps, but few downloads.

Cydia is where the big downloads come from. Of course, if you find some apps that are not in Cydia, you can download them and install them.
