Hey there, Mac Rumors. May I just say that I'm impressed by this community, it's hard to find a place that actually has a friendly & welcoming environment.

On to my point

I'd just like to request somebody to load up Bungie.net : Off Topic: The Flood & take a screenshot of your whole screen with this website open - please ensure this is on a Mac. It's nothing harmful (Bungie makes games, that's their forums), just a little prank I'm trying to play on a friend of mine.

Thanks once again & whoever does it will get Rep, if multiple people want to do it -feel free!

It's not a reputation system that follows the user. They are simple voting buttons whose meaning and usefulness are in much debate.

I like that I got -3 for just bringing the stupid voting system into this thread. Kiddies should watch more porn, maybe they would be less stressed then.

Yeah, that's the thing they don't really mean anything and usually when people bring it up others think it's funny to vote them down. It's sort of like a real life example. "They don't mean anything, watch I'll show you" *-1 vote cast*

It's a bit like bullying, though as it is anonymously, it is easier to do for those people with deficiencies, thus all people, including me.
I guess there is probably a research paper or ten about the psychology of the anonymity of message board communication and all the nuances one can encounter. von Thun would have a field day with modern communication methods.

Btw, I don't care about the voting system, I have seen my posts voted down often enough, even the helpful ones.

I have given you a "+1" just for the sentence "....research paper (or ten) about the psychology of the anonymity of message board communication and all the nuances one can encounter". That is an excellent sentence; better still, it would be a fabulous idea for a thread as that is a really interesting - and thought provoking idea.
