I'd almost forgotten all about it, everything was so smooth on the forums side :cool: Indeed, looks like the extra boxes were a worth while investment.

It was nice to be able to read/post during the keynote and not have everything lock up like times past. Nicely done, thanks to all who host/run and administer/moderate these boards. Great community, thanks again.
 
Duff-Man says...servers get an "A" for handling the load...members get a "D" for not paying attention and creating too many useless duplicate threads....oh yeah!
 
I concur with everyone else, the servers handled the load very well. Not a bad investment. Good job, MacRumors! :)

And certainly infinitely better than what happened to my site! Our server got knocked down before the keynote even began! :eek: (We've been moved to a more robust server since then.)
