I ordered my iPhone 5 through vzw at 3:17am on the 14th. I heard that Verizon will get the phones in the 21st and then they will overnight it to the customer. This means that I would get it on Monday the 24th.

What do you think about this? Because if that's the case, that really stinks.

Wrong. Verizon will start sending out shipping notifications around Wednesday with delivery by Friday.

I think that is 100000000000000000% incorrect. Even though you order via VZW it will be coming right from Apple... why would any carrier go through the very high expense of receiving a billion phones just to have to resend them out? They wouldn't.

You can believe this rumor or read the few million posts here about orders being shipped to arrive on the 21st.

I'm just worried BC my status is still processing and it says my phone will ship on the 21st when the email says I will get it the 21st.

Your phone will arrive on the 21st. Verizon orders will stay processing till around Wednesday when they ship. Please use the Verizon sticky at the top, you don't need your own thread for this.
