Hi all,
Some of you may have read my previous two topics. For those who haven't, in short, I have never owned a Mac of any description. But, having enjoyed the iPhone and iPad, I wanted to try the MacBook 15 and enter the Apple ecosystem entirely.
However, the new MacBook Pro is simply too expensive for me at the moment. Perhaps I'm being too optimistic, but it would seem that there is a possibility of a reduction in price given the amount of complaining, and so my idea is to purchase an old 2009/10 model to see if I actually like the OS enough to upgrade in a year or so when hopefully, just maybe, Apple has reduced their prices.
My only reason for not simply purchasing the previous edition is that I don't see a point in spending what is still a great deal of money on technology that is now several years old.
Sensible idea? Or is it flawed?
Many thanks,
Kind regards,
Jack.
