How do I uninstall or delete a widget from my Dashboard? I see where you can disable them but that doesn't actually delete them from my computer does it?

How are you 'disabling' the widgets? I'm pretty sure (i'm not in front of my mac atm) that in the 'Manage Widgets' widget, there is a red circle with a '-' sign in it. Clicking on that will delete the widget.

open dashboard, hit the plus on the bottom left, click on widgets, here you can delete/disable. the check disables, the red minus on the right deletes.

note: you can't delete the preinstalled ones.

An even more convenient way is to simply hold down the option key when you're hovering over a widget, which'll make the (X) close icon appear.

that will just close it. still shows up in the bar though when going through them, which disabling gets rid of.
