currently have an old iPhone 6s and need to upgrade to maybe an iPhone 13 mini or go back to new android. Big advantage with android is that it can play audio with VLC, my most familiar and ‘easy’ to use music app. Yes apple does that as well, thing is with the screen switched off, it won’t continue playing the next track. The settings in VLC are set to continuous playback but it stops after a track with the screen switched off. Currently I airdrop tracks to my iPhone from MacBook and add to VLC playlist. When using it I do have to leave screen on if want continuous playback, wasting battery life
Is there an app which continues playing with the screen off? I believe apple’s music does but it seems bit complicated with use of iTunes or iCloud, Not familiar with both and rather not learn if possible. Any suggestions? Thanks
