Thought of sharing this just in case it is helpful to few others who like to keep the phone's charger between 30 and 90 %.
Created a very simple shortcut + automation that will turn off and on the wireless charger connected to a smart plug.
The setup I have is:
1. Smart Plug connected with google home.
2. Wireless charger connected to the smart plug.
first, I created a google assistant shortcut with message like "Turn off charger";
Next, I created a simple personal automation to run this shortcut every time battery % goes over 85%
The same can also be programmed in a way to turn off the charger every time the battery % goes below 30%.
have been testing for few evenings now and so far, seems to be working perfectly fine.
