Hi,

I guess you know I am new to mbp.
I was experiencing some problems so far, I all found a solution. Well they were not a serious, just user problems happens lack of knowledge.

However, the hard disk issue made me annoying a lot because tonight I just sit tried to write my dissertation proposal in a very quiet room, and realised how noisy is the hdd even on surfing on web.

Well, a little noise is normal, but sometimes if you go to websites that takes a little bit longer to load, hard disk gets little louder.

What I did, I switched to Google Chrome.

Just go to a quiet room and give it a try. I was kinda hearing when I was even on facebook. But I guess Chrome so damn fast that help for less noise. Actually no voice at all for me now. I am so glad. I hope it works for you too.
Of course this is just to get rid of that noise while surfing.

Also I was watching some hd videos on Firefox for example, and after a while cpu was starting at full level. However, thanks to the high speed of chrome, it is not like this.

I personally like safari more stylish but I am quite happy with less noise.
