I'm not sure if this is a current event thing or design but I was kind of shocked when I read this.....

I really can't believe on of the most recognisable and respected designers is quitting and is ashamed of producing for the material world, though I really do agree with some of his points in regards to design as a whole.

It's easy for him to say that after he is now rich and famous. If he was just starting out, he wouldn't be saying that. It's easier to say it after you've become rich and don't care anymore.

But thanks for making it more difficult for other designers before you retire.
