Okay, long story short, I want to convert an ".ac3" audio file to ".mp3"
Short story long, I ripped the 2 channel audio track from a live performance on a DVD I own, and which to cut this into separate tracks. To do this, I need to bring the track into an audio editing program, in this case Sound Studio. However, Sound Studio does not recognize .ac3 files, and thus I need to convert it to an MP3 first. I attempted to use FFMpegX to convert the ac3 file to .mp3, but all it does is spit out a file that isn't recognizable by any program.
So, fellow Macheads, any assistance?
