I read various news articles saying that Pixar will be migrating to OSX soon enough.

Anyone think Jobs wants to merge his two companies?

I would seriously doubt Jobs would do that. Pixar is doing just fine on its own, merging it with Apple would not give a significant benefit to either company. I don't think Apple would be able to help much in the moviemaking business (totally different from making SOFTWARE for movie makers, which Apple is currently interested in doing). Conversely, Pixar doesn't know anything about building computer hardware.

Sometimes a good thing is best left alone.

Microsoft is migrating to OSX in their Mac tech support centers. That doesn't mean that Apple is going to buy Microsoft tech support for the Mac.

To answer your question: no possible business benefit at all ever no way no how forget it aint gonna happen get lost no chance in hell zero nunca :D
