I currently have Timbuktu 6.0.1 installed on my main computer, a PowerBook running 10.4.6. I am able to connect to machines running (as old as) Timbuktu 5.2.2 / MacOS 8.6 and control them properly.

According to this (old, Google-cached) site, if I had Timbuktu Pro 3.0 running on a System 7 or early System 8 Mac, I could connect to it from the 8.6 / TB2 5.2.2 Mac and control it. And it, in turn, could connect to a Mac running Timbuktu v1.0.7.

I haven't had a bit of luck chasing down info on Timbuktu 1.0.7 though. From context alone I think it would probably be capable of running under System 6, which is what I want: a daisy-chain of Timbuktu connections that would eventually give me backward-access to a System 6 box :)

Now.... where do I find and purchase copies of Timbuktu 3 and Timbuktu 1.0.7?
