A true competitor to the 27" Apple monitor?

ok I'm on the process to buy new monitor. I'm waiting for the new TBD but not sure if I can wait october?? .. so which brand really produce a slick design, very quality IPS monitor with speakers like Apple?

I cannot really find any.
Right now I'm working with a 27"imac and that monitor is hard to beat.
I will using the new monitor probably with MacBook Pro and/or mini mac.

Some newer Dells use better LEDs and do not have the PWM-problem (see examples on youtube).

There is none....if....you include the TB docking feature set. If not, there are lots of 27" IPS panels available.
