Obviously you're not a golfer.
...and I am really wondering why.

itunes 4.01 - 27 may
iSync 1.1 - 03 june
Quicktime 6.3 - 03 june
iMovie 3.0.3 - 03 june
Keynote 1.1 - 04 june
FCP4 (release announcement)- 05 june

by my calendar thats 6 noteable updates/announcement in a 10 day window.

now please correct me if i am wrong, but i can not recall that many updates from Apple in so short a time window as that before. I wonder what's going on?

Has anybody looked at the code and see if these are all optimised for Panther, 970 and 64 bit.

Thats the only reason I can see and may lead us on to interesting speculation:D

I want FCP4! Export directly to Mpeg2 with complete biterate control, thats gonna be sweet, plus I bet it runs better (I hope):D

Seems like a lot of 'house cleaning' in preparation for WWDC. I think Apple doesn't want to undermine their "big announcement(s)" with a lot of simultanious small updates.
