I want to test this macbook but dont have the correct heatsink (temp sensors are a different socket. Was wandering if it would turn on without them? if it measures resistance could i just put some resistors in its place to emulate 50 degrees C?
thanks for any help

Yes, it’ll turn on but only if getting the correct reading from the temperature sensor. That is, you need to apply a known voltage signal at the temperature sensor input. You can do this by simple trial and error method, apply 2.5V and continue moving upwards with small voltage steps to see where the macbook boots up.

Order a proper heatsink or risk burning out the CPUs.
