Had a bad video card, so i ordered one online and disassembled my iMac.
Didn't have too much trouble getting the video card in and the iMac back together, but when i went to power it up, I get nothing, nada, zilch.
Removed the LCD again to gain access to the LED Diagnostic lights on the motherboard.
With the imac plugged in to a verified AC source, LED Light #1 isn't on.
What does that mean?
What is my next troubleshooting step?
I have verified that my power cable is good, that there is power at the wall, that the power button cable is plugged in properly and that the cable from the PSU to the Motherboard was connected.
All of that was verified. I'm stumped!
I saw online how to test the voltages on the PSU. Is that what I need to do next to see if it's bad and needs replaced?
Is it pretty easy to blow those when doing a repair? I used an anti-static wrist guard about 95% of the time, and had it unplugged so i don't know what happened.
Any and all advice greatly appreciated in advance!
