a1226 / dual monitor configuration help / one DVI

My 15" A1226 MBPro has only one DVI output.

I'm thinking about getting two monitors and running it dual monitor configuration. Can this laptop support dual monitors? How would one run the cables for such a configuration?

Yes, I did google this topic but I did not find the answer. I spent at least 30 minutes doing that. So, I thank any and all for constructive answers.
