Hi ladies and gents...

I have a macbook pro in the workshop at the minute and it initialy came in with a logic board problem, namely the Nvidia graphics largely overheating. This seemed to rectify itself after sorting the temps out on the fans as these were a little lazy causing the overheat, cutout and the black reset screens.

Managed to get OSX Lion running there quite nicely, and apart from a crash which displayed a shed load of lines horizontally across the screen in a variety of blue colours (Graphics again..) its been fine, up until now. Booted it up for another MLB test and it will not get past the apple logo on the white screen at all.. Itll sound on, show this, and show the circular loading graphics, then that stops and it freezes. Doesnt get hot anymore as the temps have stabalised and are ok.

Short questions is, is this hard drive related or, do I need to smd the GPU as at present, I havent had to touch that on the MLB..

Any ideas would be great. Thanks all,
