Hey everyone, I have a 15" Macbook Pro, A1260.
It started to slow down a little while ago, which made me think that the battery was pretty much gone and it was throttling the CPU like most internal battery Macbook Pro will do. So I replaced the battery and things picked back up and returned to normal... for a few weeks at least. Now it won't turn on at all.
The battery indicator light shows the battery is fully charged.
When I press the power button the light flashes on, and then cuts off. Doesn't fade at all. Nor sound a chime. No screen lighting.
Tried SMC & PRAM Reset. No response.
If I hold down the power button, the light stays on for about two seconds, the disc drive initializes but as it stops the power light starts flashing quickly and continues until you release the power button.
At a bit of a loss here.
Any suggestions anyone? Thank you in advance!
