A1286 - model num. What's it mean.

Are all aluminum 15" MacBook parts interchangeble Btw 2008-2000-2010?

I'm looking for the bottom casing, and the part labelled on eBay as a1286. Are all 15" unibodys this model num?

Just wanna make sure before I order it.

All 15" unibody MBPs carry the same number but it could be the model number of the case
