A2DP Bluethooth streaming in car is suddenly noisy

Recently (maybe since i updated from iOS 3.1 to 4.2.1) my car stero system (VW) is noisy if i listen music through A2DP. My IPhone 3G is not jailbroken. I try to adjust the newly appeared volume slider but this does not help a lot.

So any one other experiences a (unprecedented) problem with A2DP in car using a IPhone 3G after upgrading to iOS 4.2.1 ? Thanks.
