AA Battery charger for Iphone 4?

I'm going camping for a long time and want to use my Iphone 4 as a camera but I'm worried not even airplane mode w/ lowered brightness will cut it.

Does this type of device exist?

what’s a long time? I can have my 3G in standby for over 15 days in airplane mode. If you just use it to take pics and then lock it afterwards, I don’t see why you wouldn’t make it for a couple of weeks.

I don't have a link but they do exist. The one I saw was in an Altoids can so that may help you search for it. I remember the main part of the story was reverse engineering Apples' implementation of full vs trickle charge and avoiding an "accessory not compatible" message.

You won't have any power source at all?

Edit: 2.5 seconds on Google turns up many options.

Now I'm thinking about getting one. :)
Here's just one: http://www.buy.com/prod/apple-ipod-...er/q/sellerid/18118498/loc/111/211421329.html

I bought this one from DealExtreme.

$5.18 + shipping.
Takes AA-batteries. Use your own usb-charger with this and you'll be good to go.

It says it's only for 3G, the one on dealextreme

C'mon, you think I don't know how to internet?

I'm asking you Pros because every freaking charge product out there is obsolete with each new iphone. I have so many car chargers that I am pissed to find "not compatible" with my phone.

Thought ya'll could help. Adding just a 4 to the end of the search doesn't really help. It's just tagging "4 AA batteries"

Here are some of my suggestions for bringing on a camping trip:

Here is a very nice solar battery pack from Thinkgeek

Or how about a battery pack that you charge by cranking it?

Here is a cheaper version

Here is one on Amazon that uses AA batteries that is pretty nice:
