Hey all,
I had AirPod pro first gen for 3 years and never had an issue. They slowly started going down and so I decided I’d treat myself to the new AirPod pro 3. I got them on Black Friday and went to the Apple Store to pick them up. They worked fine for a month, but now at least once a day when I go to put them in one of the AirPods just won’t respond. It’ll show it’s charging but it’s in my ear… I put it in the case and plugged it in, then took it out. Still not connecting. I “forgot” them from my Bluetooth connections many a times and still they don’t connect. After awhile of messing around they’ll connect to my phone again. I’ve cleaned everything and there was never any damage to them… does anyone know anything about this issue? I talked to apple support and they told me to come into the store-it’s an hour away so I’m looking for some quick fix answers. TYIA

No quick fix answer if hardware or firmware issue with the pod. Might be a pain, but go into Bluetooth settings and forget APP3 again along with every Bluetooth device except other Apple devices. Restart your iPhone and pair again.

My wife has APP3 and was suffering from connection issues and robotic sounding audio. Turned out her Bluetooth bathroom scale was the culprit. Forgot that device, repaired APP3, and all is good with APP3.
